For five hundred years, I have been bound in this forbidden land, and yet here you are, dear Independent Cultivator, shedding tears for what reason?
Chapter 262: Supreme Source, Wooden Top [261]
Summary
Sang Shou Dao attempts to block Guan Xue Lan's actions but finds himself helpless as the Supreme Source enters Gu Xiu's Dantian Qi Sea, rendering Gu Xiu motionless. Little Ping An, worried, is warned by the jade pendant not to touch him, as it could cause harm. Sang Shou Dao decides to take Gu Xiu to the lord's mansion, activating protective formations. Dan Tai Shi examines Gu Xiu and explains the dangers of the Supreme Source for lower-ranked cultivators, noting that it could lead to disaster. They realize that Gu Xiu's cultivation level is too low to handle the Supreme Source, which could assimilate him. Dan Tai Shi observes an unusual phenomenon: the Supreme Source remains contained within Gu Xiu's Dantian instead of spreading throughout his body. Gu Xiu, focused on his Dantian, discovers a wooden spinning top he crafted as a child, which serves as the core of the Supreme Source. This top elicits feelings of goodwill, and as it spins, it accelerates and eventually heads towards Gu Xiu's eighth Dao Platform.Full content
