Summary

In a chilling scene, Chai Shan, now a skinless Xue Shi, confronts a group inside a room, accusing them of causing his suffering. His desperate cries for his skin and threats of vengeance unsettle the group, leading to his eventual death. Another Xue Shi, Lu Nanshang, appears, warning of a looming danger from Mei Wen before collapsing as well. Ning Qiushui, realizing the unexpected survival of Mei Wen, grows concerned about the escalating threats within the temple. As the group prepares to bury the corpses, Ning Qiushui confronts Fa Hua about his suspicious behavior, leading to a serious warning about the need to find Mei Wen before nightfall to avert disaster.
