Summary

Bai Ze, concerned for his grandson Wu Xie and his companions, hastens through a passage filled with corpses, discovering a gruesomely dead Chinese man linked to Qiu De Kao. After gathering supplies from the corpse, he continues and finds Wu Xie and Pang Zi surrounded by large corpses, using fire to protect themselves. Bai Ze arrives, dispelling the corpses with his presence. He distributes gear, giving Wu Xie a gun and Pang Zi a knife, as they prepare to move forward together. They discuss a madman chasing Pang Zi, hinting at deeper dangers ahead. Suddenly, a loud crash signals further trouble.
