Summary

In a tense encounter, the Fire-Eyed Lion confronts a little fox and its companions, accusing them of treachery. The lion, weakened and furious, threatens to eliminate them but hesitates when faced with their strength. Yan Huang, one of the companions, taunts the lion, causing it to reconsider its aggressive stance. Eventually, the lion allows them to leave peacefully, fearing for its cubs. The trio reflects on their situation, realizing they are being hunted across the Eastern Continent. They examine the spoils from defeated foes, discovering valuable soft jade and a black jade tablet detailing a powerful martial array. Despite the risks, they decide to practice the array, seeing potential in its use against future threats.
