Summary

Chen Ping An, adorned with a wooden plaque from the osmanthus tree, meets Aunt Gui, a Qi Refining practitioner, on Osmanthus Island. She introduces him to local customs and insists he try delicacies like Osmanthus cake and Gui Zi wine. Chen Ping An is shown to the spiritually rich Gui Mai courtyard, where he meets Jin Su, who will attend to his needs. An old coachman, Ma Zhi, reveals he will accompany Chen to Daoxuan Mountain. Afterward, Chen discovers gifts left by Zheng Da Feng, including a swordsmanship manual and a pouch of valuable Jin coins, along with a jade token inscribed with "Within Arm's Reach."
