Summary

A month later, Shi Mu finds himself in a desolate marshland of the ancient Western Xia Kingdom, feeling an ominous presence. After several days of searching, he discovers a lifeless village where he encounters corpses with mysterious wounds. As he investigates, he is attacked by Hopping Vampires and skeletons, which he defeats using his powerful Money Sword. Days later, he arrives at a small town that appears to be under threat as well. He witnesses a battle against Hopping Vampires and aids a group of townspeople. Afterward, he meets Tian Song, who leads him to the town chief, Wang Ying, indicating Shi Mu's reputation precedes him.
