Summary

In an auction hall, a muscular man bids five thousand and fifty Spirit Stones for a Life-Prolonging Elixir, claiming it is for his elderly mother. Despite skepticism from other cultivators, Yue Chen decides to let him win the bid. The auction continues with mixed competition, but Yue Chen shows interest only in an alchemist's Aoki Cauldron, which he ultimately passes on. The excitement peaks with the introduction of the Crowfire Feather, a powerful one-time magical treasure with severe side effects. Despite its potential, the starting bid of one hundred thousand Spirit Stones sees little immediate interest due to the risks involved. Eventually, Liu Jing raises the bid, and after some back-and-forth, Yue Chen secures the treasure for a reasonable price, considering it a worthy research subject.
