Summary

In a treacherous, snow-covered mountain path, the Aoi Wolf Riders struggled to maintain formation while navigating jagged rocks. Their commander, Xu Le, recognized the perilous terrain, which hindered their ability to flank the enemy. Despite their desperation, the riders faced heavy casualties and a daunting distance of 670 feet to breach the chest wall. Shuo Hai, a young captain eager to prove himself, faced frustration as veteran warriors fell. In a moment of recklessness, he removed his armor to charge forward but was fatally attacked by an unseen enemy. His last thoughts were of a fellow cavalry member with striking blue eyes.
