Summary

A group, including Ye Zi Yun and Nie Li, travels from Radiant City towards Gulan City. Ye Zi Yun questions Nie Li about his acquaintance with Chen Lin Jian, revealing her surprise at his acceptance into the group. Shen Yue, jealous of Nie Li's bond with Ye Zi Yun, plots against him. The group camps for the night, and Nie Li reflects on his past and future, determined to strengthen himself to protect Radiant City from impending disaster. Meanwhile, Xiao Ning Er from the Pterosaur family learns of Nie Li's adventure and feels resentful for not being included. In a council meeting, she defends her acquisition of valuable Purple Mist Grass against Elder Xiao Yi's pressure to contribute it to the family, asserting her independence and newfound confidence from her relationship with Nie Li.
