Summary

Li Mu faces an unexpected challenge from the Blood Moon Demon Lord after killing Zheng Long Xing, anticipating a typical progression of conflict. Instead, he receives a death duel challenge, which frustrates him as he prefers negotiation over violence. His clueless attendant, Mingyue, inadvertently escalates the situation by replying affirmatively to the challenge. After some cultivation, Li Mu meets with Feng Yuan Xing, who reports on administrative matters and presents martial arts manuals from local factions seeking to appease him. Li Mu assigns Feng Yuan Xing to gather more martial arts secrets and investigate the Blood Moon Gang, revealing the precariousness of his situation.
