Summary

In a tense hospital scene, Ye Hao insists on leaving for an exam despite being injured from a gunshot wound. The lead surgeon is hesitant but ultimately agrees to stitch him up after intervention from Officer Liang Mo, who promises to take responsibility. Ye Hao, weakened but determined, is rushed to the Second Vocational Technical College. Meanwhile, his teacher Zhang Jin Sheng learns of his accident and fears for Ye Hao's future. As Ye Hao arrives, he faces resistance from his former homeroom teacher, Xu Li, who refuses him entry into the exam due to regulations. Zhang Jin Sheng argues passionately for Ye Hao’s right to enter, leading to escalating tension.
