Summary

Zhou Zhen is shocked to encounter Lu Hang Kuan, whom he believed to be dead, realizing they are both in the past after entering the time tunnel. Lu Hang Kuan had entered the tunnel over half a month earlier, giving him an advantage in information. Zhou Zhen disguises himself as one of Lu Hang Kuan's subordinates to gather intel. They both lack "numerical energy," making them vulnerable. They receive hot soup from a village woman, but Zhou Zhen hesitates to drink it due to its strange smell, suspecting it may contain something unwholesome. Lu Hang Kuan, having experience with similar situations, drinks the soup quickly. They observe children playing in the village, and a middle-aged man, possibly the village chief, leads them in a game of "Blind Man's Buff." As the game begins, Zhou Zhen watches Ji Li, the chosen "blind man," search for the other children in the courtyard.
