Summary

Bai Wa and his group skillfully evade multiple patrols of henchmen in the forest, waiting for the right moment to strike. After successfully taking down a returning group, they disguise themselves in henchmen uniforms and continue north. They encounter a roadblock with warhorses, and Bai Wa leads a surprise attack, quickly defeating the guards and seizing the horses. As they escape, they manage to evade the pursuing henchmen. After a long ride, they stop to rest and gather food, but soon realize they are being pursued by enemy cavalry. Bai Wa decides to ambush the pursuers instead of fleeing, believing it to be a better strategy given their horses' condition.
