Summary

Gang Yuan awakens from a long coma, confused and in pain. He learns he was sealed and has been missing for years. After a feast, he seeks the 'Ming Ren Zhi' scroll from Wu Mian but repeatedly fails to obtain it. The next morning, he finds everyone has disappeared and goes to Xin Jue Temple, where he meets Wu Mian and monks. He learns that Guang Xiao, a former famous figure, is now a monk. The old monk Kasyapa shows interest in Gang Yuan's connection to Xu Fu, urging him to draw a sea map to find the master. Gang Yuan is perplexed by the monks' intentions and feels uncomfortable amidst their discussions.
