Summary

In this chapter, Conan and his companions observe suspicious interactions at the home of Zhu Jiao Liang Zi, who has recently hired them to investigate some unsettling occurrences. They note the strange demeanor of the repairman, Lin Feng, and the odd behavior of Zhu Jiao, who seems to alternate between being welcoming and dismissive. A feng shui master arrives, and tensions rise as Zhu Jiao's sister attempts to borrow money, only to be rejected. As they continue to monitor the situation, they witness a flirtatious exchange between Zhu Jiao and the feng shui master, raising suspicions about their relationship. Just as the group decides to leave, a fire breaks out at the Zhu Jiao residence, resulting in the tragic death of Zhu Jiao Tai Tai.
