Summary

Meng Yao comforts Yi Fan, who is feeling down, as they approach a filthy bedroom filled with wine jars and a foul smell. Dao Tian, unaware of the mess, is pleased with his calligraphy. Yi Fan and Meng Yao are shocked by the state of the room and quickly leave for fresh air. Dao Tian, confused by their reaction, asks what happened. They explain the unpleasant smell, and Dao Tian awkwardly acknowledges it. He then asks them to sit while he writes. As they watch, they gain insights from his writing. After finishing, Dao Tian asks Meng Yao to buy wine, giving her money and joking about rewards. Meng Yao leaves, and the little fox mimics Dao Tian's writing. Dao Tian advises Yi Fan against following his path, revealing his tragic past. Yi Fan presents a worn book belonging to Dao Tian, which contains profound insights. Dao Tian, intrigued, asks Yi Fan to write a character. However, Yi Fan struggles as his energy is suppressed while writing.
