Summary

Zhao Yi wakes up on a worn-out sofa, noticing a severe whip mark on his back. Ling Er, his sister, reminds him about observing the court. As they head to the courthouse with other residents, they face strict security that prohibits loudspeakers and banners. Zhao Yi, frustrated, secretly carries a knife intending to confront a traitor, Ding Lao Han, in court. His friend Xu Chong Guo warns him about the dangers of his plan, especially regarding Ling Er's safety.
