Summary

Zhang Yuan, guided by Huan Yu Zhi Shen, arrives at the God of Forging's treasure vault. He questions Huan Yu about the God of Forging's potential anger over their actions, but Huan Yu reassures him that the blacksmith's heart is broad. As they enter, Huan Yu carelessly fills a burlap sack with divine artifacts. Suddenly, Zhang Yuan senses danger and is warned by Xue, who defends them against arrows shot from a mysterious figure in black mist. Xue transforms to enhance her attributes and attempts to counter the attacks but is fatally wounded. However, she activates her Eternal Oath ability, recovering and boosting Zhang Yuan's power. The figure in the mist, a Bow Demon God, attempts to kill Zhang Yuan but is thwarted by his summoned creatures. Zhang Yuan retaliates with a powerful sword formation, ultimately causing the black mist to dissipate. After the encounter, Huan Yu reveals that the Bow Demon God is a servant of the Cursed Demon God and that Zhang Yuan's previous actions have drawn his ire. Despite the danger, Huan Yu encourages Zhang Yuan to focus on the divine artifacts they've acquired.
