Summary

The story revolves around a group of young cultivators, including Nie Li, who are undergoing a series of tests in the Ninefold Death Ground to become the true disciple of the ruler of the Underworld Domain. The first test involves using the Reflection Sphere, which requires control over soul power or the power of laws. Many strong individuals fail the test, but some, like Cang Ming, Mu Ye, and Hua Huo, show impressive results. The Demon Lord also participates, extending his power of laws over seven feet, which surprises the divine being overseeing the test. Nie Li's group, including Lu Piao, Wei Nan, and others, also take the test, with some reaching over three feet and others over five feet. After the first round of elimination, only a few thousand remain, and they are sent to the eighth layer of the Ninefold Death Ground for the next round of tests.
