Chapter 241: "Your Lie in April and One Truth". [240]

Summary

In this chapter, Hiratsuka Shizuka finds herself lounging on the sofa, indulging in fried chicken and wine while binge-watching her favorite shows. She becomes intrigued by the comments online, which lead her to reflect on her guilt regarding the fate of a character named Kaoru, feeling that her actions may have contributed to it. Despite knowing that Oikawa Toru's claims about her influence on the story's sad ending might not be true, she grapples with the possibility that there could be some truth to it. As her mood worsens due to negative online comments, she feels the urge to escape her feelings through smoking and drinking. Frustrated, she confronts Oikawa Toru about his comments on her work, "Your Lie in April," demanding an explanation. Oikawa denies ever blaming her for the story's ending, which only adds to her confusion. Meanwhile, another character, Bai Mu Ying Li, expresses her frustration over a story that abruptly ends, leaving her desperate for more content. She messages the staff of the Extreme Library, only to learn that the trial version only contains half of the story, intensifying her anger and disappointment. In a fit of rage, she vents her frustrations on a panda plushie, which she had taken from someone else, feeling overwhelmed by the situation.
