Summary

Liu Feng, feeling sidelined as Liu Bei’s adopted son, desires more recognition in battle. During preparations to invade Sichuan, Liu Bei offers Liu Mang the choice to bring Liu Feng along. Liu Mang, viewing Liu Feng as overconfident, assigns him a lesser task, much to Liu Feng’s frustration. Liu Bei urges Liu Feng to follow orders and work under Liu Mang, hoping to mend their strained relationship. Meanwhile, Liu Mang deals with Sun Shangxiang and Lü Qiling, who both insist on joining the campaign, despite their rivalry.
