Summary

Niu Er, exhausted, drifts off to sleep while her companions, Gui Bu Gui and Wu Mian, reflect on her impending transformation in the next life. There, they encounter Shi Jie, a devoted monk cleaning a statue, who is unknowingly connected to their past. As they observe the temple's activities, they spot Zhi Mi Yuan, a familiar monk now more prominent, preparing to give a lecture.
