Summary

Li Yan Qing and Wang Gui observe the chaotic atmosphere in the Summer Tower, where a group of unruly Xi Xia warriors demand to see Miss Shi Shi. The innkeeper, Wei Zhang Gui, attempts to appease them with Mei Shou wine while trying to buy time for Shi Shi to arrive. Li Yan Qing suspects the innkeeper might resort to drugging the wine to deal with the troublemakers. Wang Gui reluctantly helps a drunken Xi Xia warrior find the restroom, and Li Yan Qing devises a plan to mislead the warrior into a confrontation. After the warrior is lured towards the Snow Hall, a fight breaks out when he is blocked by three burly men. The situation escalates, leading to a violent brawl as young officials join the fray against the Xi Xia warriors. The chaos results in multiple injuries and deaths on both sides, with the patrol army intervening too late. The incident draws the attention of Emperor Zhao Ji, who reacts with anger, issuing orders to curb factionalism among powerful families and dismissing several officials involved.
