Summary

Xu Ling Yun, having previously rejected a marriage proposal from Grand Prince Zhong Hong Peng, is shocked when her family receives a formal proposal from his uncle, Bao Qin Wang Zhong Yun Tao, three months later. Despite the Xu family's influence, they feel powerless against the royal family's might. Xu Yun Lan, Xu Ling Yun's father, recognizes his daughter's reluctance and asserts that her consent is crucial. He firmly states that they cannot accept the proposal without her agreement.
