Summary

On the eighth day of the month, two figures, armed with a bow and crossbow, searched a valley for remnants left by fleeing survivors after chaos in Hangzhou. One found a string of beads but was shot by an arrow. The other fled, pursued by attackers. Meanwhile, a disorganized crowd, part of Fang La's army, approached the valley, led by horsemen who soon encountered another group, led by Yao Yi, resulting in a tense confrontation over accusations of ambush. In a separate scene, Ning Yi lay unconscious on a stretcher, tended to by Su Tan'er and Geng Huyuan, as they prepared for his medical treatment amidst the chaos of war.
