Summary

Du Yu receives the Yuanmou Order from Warrior Xie, which grants him significant power in the Tang Dynasty, allowing him to escape death even for severe crimes. The Wu family is in danger, prompting Warrior Xie to transfer this order to Du Yu for their mutual benefit. Meanwhile, Wu Meiniang, imprisoned in the cold palace, devises a plan to have her poignant poem reach the Emperor, hoping it will save her. She instructs a maid to accuse her of disloyalty, thereby inciting the Empress Dowager's wrath. As the Emperor reads Wu Meiniang's heartfelt poem, he recalls their past affection but feels trapped by political constraints, revealing his internal conflict and helplessness in the face of the Empress Dowager's power.
