Summary

Bai Xiao Chun encounters a demon from the Blood Stream Sect, which has no physical body and is connected to him through a jade tablet. After a brief confrontation, he decides to name the demon Little Hei and begins to explore ways to nurture it. He studies the recipe for the Immortal Blood Elixir, a complex spiritual medicine that requires extensive knowledge and precision in alchemy. Over the course of a month, Bai Xiao Chun fails multiple attempts at refining the elixir but cleverly uses the failed batches to feed Little Hei, causing the demon to grow in size and intelligence. Little Hei demonstrates impressive abilities, such as absorbing harmful substances from Bai Xiao Chun's alchemy experiments. As Bai Xiao Chun continues his efforts, he remains unaware that Little Hei is developing a hidden spark of spirit. Eventually, after another failed attempt at creating a pill, he instructs Little Hei to consume it, leading to another instance of the demon collapsing from the effort.
