Summary

Su Qi, a doctor, encounters her neighbors who greet her warmly as she leaves for work, which she finds somewhat bothersome. She avoids a breakfast stall to escape an unpleasant encounter with a greasy man and opts for a state-run restaurant instead. There, she meets Luo Da Yu, a waitress who lives in the same building and recognizes her. Su Qi recalls Da Yu's family situation and realizes that Da Yu is related to the greasy man she wanted to avoid. Despite this connection, she finds Da Yu more pleasant.
