Chapter 235: The Other Side of the Son-in-Law. [235]

Summary

Ao Bing realizes Han Guo Qing and his friends are being exploited. The Third Prince offers his credit card to settle the bill, allowing them to leave. The girls, uninterested in Han Guo Qing, exit without a word, leaving him feeling regretful and anxious about potential repercussions at home. As Han Guo Qing and Ye Gelu leave the bar, they encounter a group of young men who falsely accuse Han Guo Qing of harassment. Tensions escalate when one of the young men demands money, threatening violence. Ye Gelu intervenes violently, defeating the young men and asserting dominance. Afterward, Ye Gelu suggests they avoid returning home smelling of perfume, leading them to a street stall for food and drinks. Han Guo Qing senses a shift in their relationship when Ye Gelu refers to him as "Father-in-law" instead of "Dad."
