Summary

Li Chengzhu confronts the Fire Phoenix, which surprisingly shows loyalty by jumping onto his shoulder after he strikes it. Despite his efforts, he struggles against the immense power of the celestial beast. Yue Shang arrives and, sensing the Fire Phoenix's turmoil, uses her powers to calm it down, ultimately putting it to sleep at great personal cost. After the battle, Li Chengzhu tends to Yue Shang, who is weakened from her exertion. The two share a light-hearted exchange with Dan Wang, who is left to deal with the aftermath of the Fire Phoenix's presence.
