Summary

In a snowy courtyard, a middle-aged man commands his troops, the Hei Yi Ren, to charge, but they are ambushed by the Shi Wei armed with advanced crossbows. The battle quickly turns brutal, resulting in heavy casualties among the Hei Yi Ren. Despite their initial bravery, they are overwhelmed and begin to retreat. The middle-aged man, refusing to surrender, meets his end at the hands of Pei Zi Yun. Back at the Tai Zi's residence, Pei Zi Yun arrests Li Guan Shi, who is found with a large sum of stolen money. The Tai Zi learns of the traitors among his ranks, including Li Guan Shi, and vows to root them out, revealing the depth of betrayal within his circle.
