Chapter 234: The Rice Has Been Cooked. [234]
Summary
Jiang Xuanxuan seeks her father Jiang Yun’s advice on how to win over Yi Yao, who seems indifferent to her affections. Jiang Yun suggests the metaphor "cook the raw rice until it’s done," implying intimacy, which Jiang Xuanxuan misunderstands at first. Meanwhile, Yi Yao focuses on his cultivation, achieving a breakthrough to the seventh level of the Mortal Shedding Realm. He prepares to confront the Yi family, suspecting mistreatment of Yi Xiaoxiao. Jiang Xuanxuan approaches Yi Yao, bluntly proposing to sleep with him, which he rejects, feeling disrespected. Yi Yao leaves the Prince’s Mansion, where he is offered a spirited horse, the White Cloud Steed, which surprisingly becomes docile in his presence. The chapter ends with Yi Yao preparing to ride the horse to the Yi family.Full content
