Summary

Yue Chen discovers a secret message from Baron Yorgar at Chris's estate, which leads him to a meeting of high-ranking members of the Blood Clan, including Duke Nicolas and Duke De Man La. Baron Yorgar attempts to persuade the dukes to accept a powerful figure, Lord David (Yue Chen), as their leader, claiming he is a Daywalker. The conference room is filled with tension as the members react to the idea of a Daywalker leading them. Yue Chen, who has no real interest in leadership, sees the potential to leverage this position for his own goals. As he expresses his willingness to lead and share knowledge about Daywalking, the Blood Clan members pledge their loyalty to him, with Duke Nicolas leading the way. Yue Chen declares the family will be renamed the Daywalker family, despite the skepticism of the older members regarding his promises and abilities.
