Summary

Zhu Jiu Yin, a massive snake, effortlessly devours rats that scurry in fear, having adapted to a life above ground due to an unusual event years ago. The arrival of Su Mu and his companions disrupts this routine, as Zhu Jiu Yin senses their extraordinary heat, indicating their formidable nature. Meanwhile, the rat ancestor, sought by Zhu Jiu Yin, reveals itself. Feng Ye, transformed by Su Mu's help, confronts the rat. As Su Mu and his group descend into an underground cave, they encounter ancient soldiers led by the Bei Wei Xiao Huang Zi, who are confused about their existence as souls. Zhang Qishan explains their state, leading to a confrontation that dissipates as the soldiers vanish. The group then enters a spacious cave adorned with murals, where they are attacked by ape-like creatures.
