Summary

In the village of Shentu, Shen Tu Ren, after receiving acupuncture and massage, shows signs of recovery, able to speak slowly. Xia Lei, who treated him, is thanked by Shen Tu Ren, who expresses gratitude for his recovery. Xia Lei insists he seeks nothing in return. As they enjoy the winter sun, Shen Tu Ren reflects on his regained sight, while Xia Lei shares his recent breakup, which Amane, Shen Tu Ren's daughter, chooses not to address. Later, Xia Lei returns to his company, where he faces an inspection from the Industrial and Commercial Bureau over alleged safety issues with their skateboards. Xia Lei suspects a conspiracy against his company, especially since the mayor is unavailable to assist.
