Summary

After leaving the fortress, Chu Feng refines a large quantity of mysterious herbs, achieving a minor transformation in his dantian and breaking through to the fifth level of Yuan Wu, though at a significant cost. He notices a group of young men excitedly discussing the beauty of Lin Yue Yue from the Kirin Royal Mansion and decides to follow them. In a clearing, he sees a lavish palanquin and a group of golden-armored guards and maidens. As Lin Yue Yue emerges, Chu Feng is initially impressed by her legs but is horrified by her actual appearance, which is grotesque. His reaction leads to a confrontation with the guards, as he openly criticizes her looks, earning the admiration of onlookers for his boldness.
