Summary

In a village, Village Chief Qiang Ba recounts the story of Victor, a foreigner who went missing on Ri Ju Mountain over a decade ago. Initially thought to have been taken by demons, Victor reappeared after three days, claiming to have been lost and helped by Tibetan herders. Villagers suspect he may be recognized by demons, which leads to rumors about his safety. A Cuo and his companions, intrigued, plan to ascend the mountain. Despite warnings from the village chiefs, they receive local guides, Gong Bu and Ba Sang. As they climb, they learn various legends about mountain demons. Tension builds as they suspect they might finally find Victor, leading to a suspenseful moment when bodyguards signal a discovery.
