Summary

In a tense confrontation, Nan Gong Yan proposes brotherhood to Yang Ye in exchange for treasures. Yang Ye, however, gives his companions a chance to leave, leading to Hai Xue and others abandoning the scene. Qing Hai stays, tempted by a beast's corpse. Yang Ye retaliates against those who remain, summoning mysterious beasts and attacking Nan Gong Yan. Despite initial surprise, Nan Gong Yan attempts to escape but is ultimately struck down by Yang Ye's sword. After defeating the remaining foes, including Qing Hai, Yang Ye reflects on his actions, feeling forced into violence despite his initial intentions of kindness.
