Summary

Mark regained consciousness, finding himself in a formal attire, surrounded by a pure white environment. He was confused and couldn't recall how he got there. Mo Cheng appeared, telling him it was his big day, and Mark eventually realized it was his wedding ceremony with Ran Bing. However, he felt something was off, and as he looked around, he saw his friends from the lighthouse, but they all transformed into skeletons. Mark then realized he had died, along with everyone else, after losing to the giant Devourer beast. He found himself in a desolate place, but a mysterious person, Qiao Qiao, appeared, and with a touch, Mark's body was restored. He returned to reality, finding Ran Bing by his side. The lighthouse had crash-landed, and Mark was told that a mysterious power had saved him. The chapter ends with Jon, in the 'Bloody Whirlpool Passage', learning about the Mana Ecology and its connection to humankind's technology and the environment. He decides to seize control of the entire Mana Ecology and uses his powers to acquire a 'Fully Automated Faith Contribution Assembly Line', making all Devourers born from the Mana Ecology his followers.
