Summary

Chu Mu Yun introduces Jian Chang Sheng to the Huang Hun Society, where members choose cards to signify their roles. Jian selects the spade 6, while Chen Ling, already a member, picks the heart 6. As they discuss tasks, Jian learns he has none yet. Outside, Chu Mu Yun hands Chen Ling an investigation report about "The Hand of Salvation" and mentions a court case involving law enforcer Han Meng. In a dark prison, Han Meng meets Tan Xin, who offers him a choice: plead guilty or reclaim his role as a law enforcer. Tan Xin believes Han Meng's unique qualities can be pivotal for Aurora City, despite its challenges.
