Summary

Qi Hua Rong runs home in tears after being humiliated by Shen Jiao. Shen Jiao and Han De Fu discuss their actions, with Shen Jiao claiming they did it for Qi Hua Rong's own good. Han De Fu agrees, but Shen Jiao's true intentions are revealed as she regrets not being able to take down Qi Hua Min as well. Meanwhile, Han Gao and a group of women are concerned about contracting leprosy from Qi Hua Rong's contaminated sheets. Han Gao reassures them but is anxious herself, worried about the safety of her family and the village. Han Qi Guang and Han Lao Jiu arrive, and Old Master Qi is woken up to address the situation. He guarantees that Qi Hua Rong does not have leprosy, but rather sores caused by internal heat and toxins. Qi Hua Min adds that as a family of doctors, they would have recognized leprosy. However, the villagers remain skeptical, and Han Lao Jiu suggests that a reputable doctor should be sent to check. Qi Hua Min agrees, reminding them that the Qi family was brought to the village by General Han and should not be driven out without cause.
