Summary

Bai Ze finds himself in a perilous situation, fleeing from two competing creatures that threaten his life. After a narrow escape, he reflects on the dangers of tomb raiding, suspecting he is in a royal tomb from the early Southern Song Dynasty. As he continues, he notices missing footprints, indicating one of his companions has gone missing. Upon discovering a corpse with a twisted expression and no footprints leading to it, Bai Ze is puzzled. A small snake emerges from the corpse, which he swiftly kills, only to be confronted by a swarm of blood-filled bugs. Despite the growing supernatural elements, Bai Ze feels a thrill, reminding him of past adventures, as he senses something ominous following him.
