Summary

While Gu Xiu experiences joy, Lu Qing Yao faces chaos at Spirit Beast Peak. She attempts to use a forbidden technique to birth a Demon Ancestor Nascent Soul, but vengeful spirits of the beasts rebel, causing her bloodline channels to rupture. As the channels break, her half-formed Nascent Soul deteriorates, dropping in rank from Demon Ancestor to Demon Saint, and eventually to a mere Demon Soldier. Despite her desperate pleas for the spirits to stop, they continue their rampage, ultimately reducing her Nascent Soul to the lowest tier, a Demon Servant. With her power stripped away, Lu Qing Yao is left powerless and surrounded by vengeful spirits seeking revenge.
