Summary

Yao Ruo Xian, amused by a bold child's antics, chases after a creature called black charcoal, but it escapes. He discovers a little mantis that consumes a demon core quickly, leading him to experiment with more cores. Over a month, the mantises grow larger after devouring demon pills. However, they suddenly fly out of the cave, prompting Yao Ruo Xian to chase them. Meanwhile, Miao Yi senses the mantises and summons them. Upon their return, both men discover that the mantises secrete a valuable substance, crystal silver, from their tails, leading to excitement over its purity and potential value.
