Summary

Zhang Ye, a broadcasting host with a bad temper, has just joined an internet TV station. His colleagues are whispering about his past behavior, such as driving his English teacher away and scolding someone from the human resources department. They think he's an oddity in the industry. Meanwhile, Dong Shan Shan, a beautiful and charming colleague, has caught the attention of several men in the office, who are eager to get close to her. Zhang Ye tries to invite Dong Shan Shan to lunch, but she goes with a group of men instead. Later, Zhang Ye discovers that at least ten people in the office have a crush on Dong Shan Shan, and he decides to try a "Red Thread" item he obtained, which is supposed to bring people together. He secretly ties the thread around Dong Shan Shan's ankle and his own, hoping to see its effects.
