Summary

In the aftermath of a dine-and-dash incident, Bei Er returns to the tavern to apologize and repay his debt, only to find out that someone has already covered his meal. The charming maid, Xi Er, reassures him, and the shop owner, Mia Mama, hints at a looming threat if he hadn’t returned. A Ni Ya, a catgirl, reveals that the person who paid is now her sworn brother, but she doesn’t know his whereabouts. Meanwhile, Kobayashi, who is connected to Bei Er through a past incident, reflects on the situation and agrees to visit the tavern weekly after A Ni Ya's insistence. Later, while returning from a monster-hunting expedition, Kobayashi encounters Tiona and Ai Si. Tiona, frustrated with their grinding routine, invites Kobayashi to the tavern to unwind, where they eventually meet Bei Er again. The atmosphere becomes tense with Bei Er's shyness around Ai Si, but Tiona's lively demeanor helps lighten the mood. Kobayashi treats everyone to dinner, and they enjoy a lavish spread, while Bei Er expresses curiosity about his relationship with Ai Si. Kobayashi shares his own past struggles, which doesn’t uplift Bei Er’s spirits as intended. As dinner concludes, Tiona reminds Kobayashi that his weapon is ready, reigniting his excitement about the forging process.
