Summary

Shi Mu confronts Bai Shao Feng, using a powerful black meteorite knife that merges with his staff to unleash a devastating attack on the black beast cage, which shatters into smoke. Bai Shao Feng attempts to escape but is struck by Shi Mu's crescent blade light, leading to his defeat. Under duress, Bai Shao Feng reveals information about the Ascension Ceremony held by the Tong Tian Immortal Sect, which occurs every thirty years and allows sects to send disciples for potential rewards. Many sects, including the Beast Mountain Sect, strive to participate despite the costs involved. Afterward, Shi Mu leaves the inn, where townsfolk, including the mayor, await him. The parrot, Cai Er, suggests attacking the Beast Mountain Sect for their Spirit Stones, but Shi Mu dismisses the idea. Later, Shi Mu trains with Yan Luo, showcasing his growing skills but still feeling her overwhelming power.
