Summary

Ji Xuan Lan, a 19-year-old student at Berkeley College of Music, expresses pride in her accomplishments, having gained admission on her own merit. During a conversation with Ye Gelu, who boasts about his piano skills learned from a blind erhu teacher, Ji Xuan Lan questions his credibility. Ye Gelu dismisses her concerns and declines her request to connect on WeChat, claiming he has a girlfriend. Meanwhile, Han Chao tries to engage Ji Xuan Lan but is ignored. Ye Gelu later receives a call about a situation involving Pei Yanzhi and meets with Wild Dog and others at a hot pot restaurant. They discuss three delinquents who were hired to attack Ye Gelu's friend, which he finds amusing. Tensions arise when a young man disrespects Ye Gelu, leading to a confrontation.
