Summary

Bai Ze encounters a supernatural scene in a tomb where puppet heads roll towards him, releasing a swarm of deadly Di Lao Hu hornets. As he fights them off with his sword, he discovers a large gecko, known as Shou Gong, which devours the hornets, saving him. Continuing through the tomb, Bai Ze finds a fork in the path marked by the blind man he is searching for. Following the left path, he triggers a trap that releases arrows, narrowly escaping. He discovers a corpse riddled with arrows, likely one of the blind man's companions, intensifying the danger of his quest.
