Summary

Shi Mu, a tall figure dressed in black, travels through a desolate mountain range, having been searching for his companions for over a month. Despite using a detailed map from his previous encounter with Zha Gu, he finds the central continent barren and lacking the expected spiritual energy. Arriving at Lin Shan Town, he discovers a dire situation where men are being captured by beast-robed martial artists for mining. Shi Mu intervenes, using his combat skills to defeat the captors and free the young men. The town chief, Liu Dou, expresses gratitude and invites Shi Mu to his restaurant, where they plan to share a meal.
